Sanity
The world has gone mad. Trump invaded Venezuela and then there’s the alleged killing of Ms. Renee Good in Minneapolis. The Trump Administration is now demanding for Greenland. Then, there’s an internet blackout in Iran to stem democracy protest in their countries. Further, Ukraine is claiming that Russia might use nuclear in their next attack. China has surrounded Taiwan with Navy forces as a response for their purchase of defensive weapons from USA. It’s just 11 days into 2026 and there’s so much depressing news abroad. While it is a good idea to reduce social media exposure and news in general, I think we need to remind ourselves of our own humanity and not get carried away by The Eight Winds - prosperity, decline, disgrace, honour, praise, censure, suffering, and pleasure.
