BU12 Part Deux

This afternoon, I arranged with the agent for another viewing of the house I bought. My mother, sister and Anne's parents have not seen it. The general consensus of everyone after viewing the house is that it is all THUMBS UP! Mom was very excited about it. She thought it'd be a very run down place (for the price) but after she has seen it, she felt much better. It is new and clean, is all she said the whole afternoon. All of them like the "pinkist" tile that the owner did upstairs. I didn't really like that very much but they all agreed that it is nice and it would be a shame (and expensive) to tear it down. So all of them have some idea or two of what needed to be done to the house.. I am glad that everybody's happy.

When I think about it, most of my house buying has some areas that we are not completely satisfied with. You see, I'm not rich. Because of the limited amount of finance I could afford, there are not many places I could see. Unless I wanted a far away places like in Bukit Rimau or Bandar Botanic (hehehe, no hard feelings, Bahija), my choices are limited.

Eg, the apartment I bought did not turn out to be the dream place that the brochure painted in my mind, thus I have to sell it off. Our current houses in Menjalara is small, though we have a huge driveway - and it is also near an oxidation pond. So, yeah.. people who are limited by finances have very limited choice in the type of houses/location they could buy.

The BU12, however, is really like a HUGE windfall. The house is big, the location is good, the price is right. Almost everyone who saw it agrees that it is a good buy. Such unanimous opinion is almost not existence with my choice of houses. So, I am basking in the glory of finally making the right decision, this time.

Thank you, Lord! :D

  3. Actually, now that I think about it, it's not exactly without flaws.. remember there is a potential for a mosque to be built?

Ai... if it is a flawless house, I'd not be able to afford it lar.. "dou mei lun tou ngor" (will not be my turn)..
